Unhappy Wheel pitting on 4.6L 20" OEM rims

I am experiencing some slight pitting from brake dust corrosion on my 2003 4.6L OEM 20" rims. This is most evident on the fronts, naturally. I am still under warranty and was wondering if this is covered. I would think that it should be, but maybe it's considered "normal" wear?

I just had a rim repaired by Alloy Wheel Repair - they can remove curb rash and pitting in under an hour and it only cost $100 - I am anal about my cars and I can honestly say I can't tell where the damage was.
