All doors unlock with one push on key

I just had the basic module replaced under warranty and when I got my car back I noticed that all the doors unlock on the first push. I kind of like this feature since the doors re-lock when you start driving.

Does anyone else have this as an option?

It is a dealer programmable option.

Most people dont like this option. I.E. walking to your car in a parking lot at night and having someone waiting on the passenger side of your car.

Its normally set up just to do the driver door 1st for safety reasons.

Does that ever actually happen? I think it's set up that way for the perception of safety as opposed to actual safety (South Africa excluded). (Imagine a thief cursing his rotten luck when the passenger door of the truck he's about to jack doesn't open. "Oh, well" he says, moving on to another victim...)

Anyway, mine unlocks all doors on one push.

I had this option done on mine. I like it, I even have the daytime running lights. I like these options as to one touch all open and the daytime running lights saved my butt one day from an accident. But to each his own, this is just my opinion.

With the remote, one push opens the driver door only on my X and to pushes onen all doors. I also had the dealer program so that the doors lock at 5mph, i like it
