Sunshade Clips updated.

I picked up a new sunshade clip today, and they are a different design. much more sturdy and fit right in. I dont know if this is new information or not but I thought I read about guys retrofitting some clips b/c the older style ones kept falling apart.

1 clip = $5 (im sure this is cheaper at other dealers)
also avalible in a set.

$5 for one clip? I bought the set of 4 updated clips from my dealer for $2.36. Your dealer really is a stealer!

But I agree on the updated design-looks to be much sturdier.

Lol I have to look at my invoice. $5.36 though. And its not my dealer it's just the closest one to me. Perillo BMW (yes the one with the lame commercials)

All in all I'm getting the better end of deal BMWNA is picking up the tab for the lost pixels on my display and all I have to pay is the sales tax.

Just so happens that Perillo BMW in downtown Chicago is 5 min away from me.

Yup! Been there, done that. Glad you got your updated clip, but I agree with above, it should have been a set of 4. I got a set of 4 for $2.36!

I broke them last year.

Here is the article from last year on how to replace them:

Another success story. I've had a broken clip on each side for the past year preventing me from being able to use my sunshades. I called Crevier BMW on Saturday and asked if they happened to have replacement clips, and sure enough they did! A package of 4 was $6. I picked them up, drove home and replaced all the old clips with the sturdier new ones withing 15-20 minutes.
Many thanks to the DIY repair instructions on the main page! It's just nice to know that those things aren't broken anymore, and I can actually use my sunshades this summer!
