code p0171 will not go away after recommended fix
I have a 2001 4.4 and I just did the crancase vent hoses , cleared the codes and now the SES light came back on with a p0171 code.system lean bank 1. I have just done the MAF 3 months ago , and the cam position sensor on the intake side as well. I only have 35k miles on the X. Could it be my fuel filter? I have a AFE intake and that is it. Thanks for any help!!! Last edited by Dark BMW; 05-13-2007 at 08:54 PM. |

In my experience ~85% of the prolblems stem from o2 sensors goi g or exhuast leaks.

Are you putting too much oil on your AFE? The excessive oil can contaminate your MAF.
