Unhappy Electrical gremlins

So, I told you guys that my CD changer wasn't working. One day it was fine and the next day she no work. When I pressed the mode button on the radio, it would skip right over the option and only go from radio to the single in dash CD.

Dealer replaced the changer, which worked for a day, if that. I also blew my 3rd tweeter (drivers side door) and they ordered it. Anyway....so I'm left with the single CD and radio until the tweeter comes in. I really don't want to make an extra trip to the dealer. Today, I arrived at an appoinment early and while wasting time in the X, listening to the radio I noticed that when changing stations, the stations changed but the display did not. It kept showing the samed numbered preset and the channel display but the actiual station I was listening to was changing So I continue to press buttons because that's what women do. Now the display on the radio goes out completely except for the time. It looks as if the radio is off. But it won't shut off even when I shut it. I shut the ignition and resart and now no radio at all. NO TUNES, I'M IN HELL!

I come out from my appointment, start her up and the world is right again, with the exception of the CD changer which still doesn't work.

UCrewX5 has disabled reputation
Could be the radio module itself going bad.

Zulu95 is on a distinguished road
I had the "Radio Will Not Switch Off" problem. I cured it by removing the complete dash unit, unplugging and replugging the multi-pin plug on back. That was 2 years ago and it worked fine since. It costs nothing to try.
