Exclamation Oil Change Kit $$$$

Does $57.00 sound about right for a oil change kit for a 3.0 2003 x5?......If i wanted to get my own oil at AutoZone what kind is comparable to the BMW brand form your experience

You can buy 4 BMW filter inserts (MANN) on eBay for around $25. Then all you need are the wrenches to remove the cover/oil drain plugs and some good synth. oil. Amsoil, Redline, Royal Purple or the like.

I used it last oil change in the X5. It has been standard in my V8 Explorer since new.

$57 not bad ;-)
Figure for me, I'm 8.5 quarts at anywhere from 6-8 average on oil....
That would be $48.
$10 for the filter sounds just about right.....
