is there a 'sucker' tool I can do this with??? surely the BMW engineers dont lose their nails everytime thy change a bulb???

it's all about technique. Once you've done it, doing subsequent ones is a piece of cake.

Put on a set of Mechanics gloves! Sure helps with keeping your hands from getting banged up. Take a good look at the pictures. It really is a total PITA but I promise the fog lights will come out!

The other alternative is to remove the front bumper cover. It's actually pretty easy!!

Thumbs up fog lamp bulb replacement

I had the same trouble but luckily I went online and found all your suggestions through xoutpost.com. Thanks. It was a little difficult but I got it out a lot quicker than if I had not looked you up.

just to resurrect this thread, I removed the 2 screws then pulled tugged for 20 minutes, got bored, put screws back in and though screw this, im having a beer
so no , I cant get em out

neither of the bulbs have gone , I think when I removed the front bumper I got moisture in them both, so they could do with being removed,
and theres no way im taking the bumper off again
