My 05 X5 has 37K miles, and the maintenance light is still yellow?
On a side note, I really can't believe that BMW suggest to go 15K or a year and three month in my case between oil changes, that is nuts. |

Actually, 15K between changes is not nuts. The old routines of every 3-6K for a change was accurate when the quality of synthetic was poor and technology was older. Current oils would probably go longer then 15K.
linky: http://home.businesswire.com/portal/...g=en&vnsId=667 http://www.castrol.com/castrol/produ...tentId=6030793 To the light question, take it to the dealer and ask if they reset the indicators. It should have been reset when they did the work, was it when you left the dealership originally?

You probably already know this but the maintenance plan covers one free annual oil change for low mileage users |
