Dealership Problems: First door handle, then window reg., now window switch???
I took my '01 x5 in for an outside broken door handle...the dealership calls me back to say the window reg. went out...after much fighting, kicking and screaming we have agreed that I will pay for the part and they will pay for the labor.
Now this morning they call me to say that my window switch is broken too! Any feedback on how this all could have happened when all I had wrong was the door handle? As I am sure you can guess, the dealership is holding no fault in any of this. Thanks

the local indy mech i spoke to said when the regulator goes bad it can knock into the carrier assembly and f up the door handle assembly. Look at my post, did your handle look all bent up like mine? I though someone tried to break in, still not sure.
