Front Brush Guards

Sorry for being such a "newbie" on here, but I am really looking forward to customizing my 2002 X5 4.4i as I did with my other BMW cars in the past.

Anyone have any pictures of the front brush guards (I think that is what they are called) for me? I have seen two while reading these posts that I am interested in. Also interested in pricing/information on where to get.

1) Chrome and is only at the level of the front bumper (does not curve up). Seems like it is installed under the bumper.

2) Chrome or body color guard that curves up toward the grill and comes out of the front bumper. Not sure if this requires a bumper replacement.

Thanks everyone and I love the site. I have been spending [way to much time] reading this since my purchase last week and appreciate the support/assistance/advice.

As far as I have seen, you have five choices:

1) The OEM BMW chrome underride guard that is chromed steel and does not go as high as the bumper;

2) The OEM decorative grille guard made of plastic;

3) The Hamann kit;

4) A full grille guard such as this one by Manik;

5) This one that appears to me similar to the OEM BMW decorative grille guard but could be made of metal (unknown brand);

Good luck!
