I lost my gas cap about 2 weeks ago & now have a new one. Durning the process of getting the new one my service engine soon light came on. I am sure it was b/c I did not have a gas cap on. How do I reset the light to make it go off? It has had a full tank of gas & several starts, but it is not going off on its own. Please help!

The SES light should reset after a little while. I need to replace my fuel system venting valve and I have a SES light that comes and goes. It does a bit of time.....

If it doesn't go out on its own, there could be something else triggering it. You local Autozone should be able to pull the codes and reset the light.

Thank you. I will see if it goes off soon. If not I will take it to Autozone.
