BMW X5 20" Staggered Wheels

Hi!

Need some suggestions..I'm planning to buy the 20" wheels for the X5, can't afford the genuine OEM wheels therefore looking at some replica's on eBay.

These are the two I am currently looking at:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43960

This company is quoting me $2700 tax included with Michelin Tires with 5 year warranty they say, they keep mentioning also that their company is well known on x5 world so if anyone has had any experience with them please let me know!

I can also buy another set from a local store for around $860 with tax and then purchase the tires from discounttires which overall would be much cheaper

just curious if u have any suggestions on the quality..

I believe that is the same company I used when I got my replica 4.6 wheels and Michilen tires. I would recommend them highly. I've put a lot of miles on my X with the 20's on and have had NO issues.

My biggest concern was about structural integrity, being that the X5 is heavy you don't want a rim that will bend under the weight. So far so good.

Also, whatever rims you decide to buy make sure you have the tires mounted and balanced prior to getting to you. That way if any issues come up (for instance a wheel being out of round or any other weight issues) the dealer/seller can handle the problem then without you having to ship wheels back and forth.

Same folks I bought my set from. Very highly recommended. Not a problem with my replicas. I got the Toyo Proxes tires though, not the Michies. They are M+S rated and I'm planning to use year-round. A little cheaper than the Michies too. Many others on this board have gone this route as well.

Truck accessory outlet is great i bought mine from there and never had a problem. although i got them with the continentals for 2200 dollars. 2700 seems high. if you can go with toyo. its a great tire for the price
