Sat Nav Installation

Would a stealer normally install navigation for you?

I'm thinking of getting sat nav, but not sure who to go to.

Thanks.

it will cost you a bomb to get it installed at the dealer for an OEM one. Better off purchasing a handheld one or after market unit. There are several brands such as Garmin, Tibo, etc....that works perfectly well and for a fraction of the costs.

Yeah, just got a quote back from them. AU$10,000!!! #$#%!

I can get portable ones for $500, just thought i could have the nice looking OEM one.

Wonder if they would install a unit I got from ebay? I can get a second hand set for around $2000.

If you pay for the service I think they will install it for you. But check the section on retrofitting an OEM Sat Nav.......its quite tedious and require loads of items, wires, etc.... Better off just going for portable ones. Besides, with portable ones, you can always use it on other cars when you are traveling in them. Cheers!
