This link has a picture of the diagram needed: http://www.xoutpost.com/130119-post35.html

Here's a thread that will help a bit for others that received their bumblebee cameras: http://www.xoutpost.com/group-buys/12...group-buy.html
but thats the thing when they grey wire is connected to the reverse light positive wire, the screen gets lines all over it when car is put into reverse.

And as u can see on that relay pic u sent me, the grey wire is no where to be connected on that relay the only wires that are connected to that relay;

reverse light positive and negative (ground) wire
video camera positive and negavite( ground) wire

i never used relay # 30 to connect pin 17 from the video module, cause i did not know which wire on that harness was pin 17/nor did i know what color it was...

but that does not matter because my vsm works fine wit my navi without pin 17 being connected to the relay

This part of the question was answered on post #2 - the camera activation needs a relay to rid of the scan lines. This will give it a clean, uninterrupted power source.

The grey wire on the VSM can be tapped into the reverse tailight.

so i guess my last question would be;

where is pin 17?? is it the pin 17 on the oem navi harness; or the VSM module pin 17?

and what color wire is it??i have no clue how to figure out what wire coresponds to what pin, how do i do that?

imola, sorry for late reply,
I just checked my relay setup and here you go.

connect wire from backup cam with fues to relay #87
also connect grey wire from VSM to wire from backup cam with fuse.

relay #86 is ground.

connect back up light source (+) to relay #85

connect battery (+) cable to relay #30

Check your connection - this could be from one of the pins not plugged in on the connector.
