AV input v AUX input
I have just read the excellent article on installing an aux input, for ipod etc, which you then access by pressing mode button until the minitor goes to the aux screen
i already have an av input on the back of the centre armrest. the only way i can find of using it is to select tv and then select the av station on the tv. however, the sound quality is not good ( if i have it playing while stationay, the tv flickers like mad) and i cant have it playing in the background while the satnav is on. its either 1 or the other. i presently have my ipod connected via the tape deck, but its a bit tacky and im sure a direct connection would give a better sound quality any ideas how i can use the av input ? cheers |

That input would produce mono sound as it was designed for use with the TV setup and high high fidelity audio. If you want good sound spring $50 for the aux input.
