Driving with DSC off??

Is it true that it is bad for the X if you drive with DSC off because it locks up all four of the wheel so it becomes four wheel drive?

It doesn't lock up the wheels.. It just stays in normal AWD but you don't have stability control anymore.

No.. DSC isn't on unless you need it. All it does is help you. I"d leave it on... It prevents rollovers and skids.

Well the system is on all the time.. it doesnt do anything unless it has to ... It makes no difference with gas mileage or anything.
