Man. If I can't get any info on how to actually open Post-10/02 headlights or if I can't find someone local to do a trade with, I'm gonna resort to cutting open the headlights.

There is someone here in the Seattle area on Craigslist that I believe is selling a set of the headlights that you may be after. I would check out Craigslist seattle under auto parts and Bmw. Good luck

Thanks for the heads up! I e-mailed the seller and asked if they could tell me what the date stamp on the lights said. Waiting on a reply.

slightly off topic, does anyone know what kind of seal bmw uses in post 10/02 headlights? i think it will be great to use as superglue. can you get it or something similar in home depot or somewhere else? thanks.

Most likely a Loctite product as they are owned by a German company.
