That's interesting that many state so. But my 2003 service manual clearly states:

Brake Fluid - Every 2 years
Coolant - Every 4 years
ATF (automatic transmission fluid!) - Every 100,000 miles

Does no one have this in their manuals?

i havent checked mine, but I know alot of people do it b/w 60k and 80k just to be safe with all the tranny probs.

I like bmw's 3.0 inline 6. put 109k on my 330ci and all i had to replace was my power steering pump that went out at about 80k
