4.6 cluster look.
First off just let me say that I love the look of the gauges in my M3. It makes the X's look boring, even with the cluster rings Ive added. So I thought I would try to put in a 4.6 cluster into my 4.4.
...After reading around, people have done it with consequences. Some problems i've read about are.. - actual speed differs from cluster reading - oil pressure doesn't work - oil pressure works but reads as consumption meter - empty light stays on, although it does read the amount of gas correctly - brake light on - parking brake light on among others. So then I found this, http://bimmian.ca/product.htm?veh=46&item=GFA&ref=1 They basically took a regular 3 series cluster and transformed the look into the M3, with even the redlines lighing up to emulate it that much better. I have found a company and am in talks with them about development. So then, how many of us would actually think about purchasing this product? I'll post later on how many minimum I need to start development.
