you need to go into your setting and there is a way to eliminate that. it something about day and night mode.

Thanks for the Reply Msborg1. Where can I find this setting? Its not in the TV settings or Hidden Service Menu.

Its in the menu setting. goto set, when in set program hold down the menu button for 10 seconds and than another setting menu will appear. look into onboard monitor or computer and u will see brightness. that might work

Cheers for that JST I now have a brighter main display. It still does not sort my TV problem though, still have to turn on park lights to get brighter picture
Anyone else have this problem or is it just me?
