TV Brightness

Hi all. The TV brightness in my 2002 X5 which has the 16:9 monitor is quite dim, but when I turn on the park lights it gets much brighter!! Should this not be the other way round?

Simon.

you need to go into your setting and there is a way to eliminate that. it something about day and night mode.

Its in the menu setting. goto set, when in set program hold down the menu button for 10 seconds and than another setting menu will appear. look into onboard monitor or computer and u will see brightness. that might work

Cheers for that JST I now have a brighter main display. It still does not sort my TV problem though, still have to turn on park lights to get brighter picture Anyone else have this problem or is it just me?
