upgrading headlights
im lookin to upgade my stock headlights with amber turn signals on it to the ones with the "clear" ones. I found a pair, but i just want to make sure that i can just swap the old ones out and put the new ones in with no problem. also, if it is possible, is it easy to do? do i have to aim the lights or whateveR? thanks, mike |

As long as you are going from
Xenon ---> Xenon or Halogen ---> Halogen then it's a direct bolt-on swap. See http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...ticle&artid=63 for tips on how to remove the headlights.

i think i would get alittle nervous removing the front bumper...if its possible to swap them without removing it it would be much better i think.
so i read your tutorial...it only show how to take it out half way (enough to take the signals out). to completely remove the headlight is there another screw soemwhere? or was removing the bumper solely to protect the washers? mike |

To remove the headlights there are 4 screws on each unit. Two on top and two behind the trim piece that you pop off. As I said above, I took the bumper loose to protect the washer units. Taking the bumper cover loose is a piece of cake.
