What’s up with my MP3 CD Changer...?

Here is the problem:
I got 2001 X5 with Digital DSP (coaxial output), recently I installed new OEM MP3 CD-Changer. Charger works perfect and plays the music nice and clear but for some reason it doesn't start to play with the first start, radio display says "no tape/CD", I have to turn the car off and start it again in order to get the music. So every time I want to the music I have to start my car twice, turning off just the radio doesn't help.

Any ideas?

You might need an updated module to play MP3's.

No, I sold CD-changer, I don't think it is compatible with my system.
