Retrofit a headlight washer system possible on non headlight washer system?

Retrofit a headlight washer system possible on non headlight washer system?

Has anybody ever done a retrofit of a headlight washer system on your X5 bumper without the system in there? Here is my goal, I have a headlight washer system on my X5 now, but want a new/used bumper without the system installed due to damage on prior bumper and avaiablility of used non washer system bumper. Can I just cut holes and xfer my old system or are the two bumpers that much different, that I can not use a bumper without the headlight washer system?
