How to clean your whole intake system and your injectors too.

BG44k is the bomb. It has made my X5 run like new. Their intake cleaner spray made my SES light dissappear and their injector cleaner on top of that dropped my idle rpm to just a nick over 500. I was also getting symptoms of a dirty ICV and mass air flow sensor. The spray seems to have completely cleaned both. The engine gets about 2mpg better and the exhaust sounds completely different too.

The X was in need of a tune up as I've put almost 60k on the X since I bought her. I changed out the spark plugs a few weeks which alleviated my cylinder misfires. I was however still getting ses codes telling me my MAF sensor was probably dirty, and my ICV was as well.

BG44k is some of the best stuff in the world for our cars. BG44k is what the BMW dealer uses to do an expensive induction/intake/ injector cleaning. Mine here in Tampa wouldn't even sell me the stuff over the counter and seemed as if they preferred to keep it's existence unknown.

So..... I went shopping on ebay and purchased this

The stuff is very simple to use. First tank of gas I ran the injection system cleaner. The second tank of gas I poured in the New power enhancer. The injection system cleaner alone worked wonders. It instantly went gangbusters on the deposits inside my injectors. I noticed a difference within 20 minutes of it's use.

For the intake cleaner, you're going to need to loosen the MAF sensor clamps, both of them. With the engine off, I sprayed down the MAF sensor well. I then sprayed as deep as I could into the section of tubing behind the MAF sensor. I sprayed a large stream as deep as I could so that I could get the ICV wet.

You will have trouble starting your engine as it thinks it's been flooded, and after you get it to start you should have to give it a little gas initially. I let it run for 5 minutes before repeating the process thrice more. On the last start let it run for 15 minutes and you're made in the shade.

Absolutely. The dealer uses this stuff universally across the product line. I used the one package to clean the X5 and the convertible which has over 100k. The convertible now runs like new. Fuel efficiency is 10-15% improved. The engine starts right up, runs smooth and sounds different (quieter). I'm not sure what this vert's drivetrain was like when it was brand new, but I'd imagine it's close to where I have it at now thanks to BG44k

I added it to the V28 software I have. I also substituted the icons with actual pics of my x5 shot from a birdeye view. The sky as you can see is custom too.

That is quite cool. I just upgraded my sw to V29.1. Can I still make the changes to the icons/sky ? Is it done totally via NavTweak?
Thank you

I get 44K through the superindent at the golf course. He uses it on the mowing equipment and tractors...

My independent BMW mechanic swears by it. It kept my 89 325i running great for the almost fifteen years I owned it.
