X5 Window Regulator Clip/slider bushing

Hey guys, i joined the club last night when my FR window popped as i was rolling it down and wouldnt go back up...i took apart the door and found out it was one of the clips that slides up and down the track that had broken and wouldnt allow the window to go back up. There are 2 clips for the 2 different tracks, and since only one broke, it tries to make the window go up but it is lopsided and cant move. I was wondering if there is a place I could buy only the clip that slides up and down on the cable rather than replacing the whole window, since it is just a little plastic piece that must be cheaper than the $150 entire window regulator. I dont know what the name of the part is, but it connects the window to the cable and slides up and down...any help is MUCH appreciated...thanks so much

Unfortunately BMW only sells the complete window regulator, not the individual components. You could try rigging it, buy my advise is to bite the bullet and just replace it. It should run under $100 from Morristown.

Post in the Morristown Parts forum here at X5world, or call them.
