Thumbs down My 3.0d needs a replacement turbo :-(

Hi everyone, after much lurking I finally had to register to look for some ideas!

So, as the title says, my 3.0d Sport 2003 model has just blown it's turbo and my X5 is smoking like a chimney! Does anyone know of any sites that sell replacement turbos? BMW are quoting £1700 to replace it... ouch!

I used to be a mechanic so providing it's not too big a job and doesn't require specialist tools I can do it myself.

Thanks in advance!

Ian
