Car Fridge Suggestions ???

I travell alot for work, and I like the flexibility of carrying around a small refri that willl fit in my trunk ..obviously with electriciity that will keep my lunch, snacks etc.


ANY SUGGESTIONS ?

even if the engine is off how will it work ?

there's a bmw cooler accessory - pacific bmw sells them (though you could probably get it from the dealership that sponsors the parts forum here as well) - see it here...

oh, and i don't think you'd find many auto coolers/refrigerators that will work when unplugged...

I have a Waeco CF35 cooler that uses a, very low electricity consumption, Danfoss (German) compressor. Works on 12/24/mains electricity using an inbuilt transformer. Recently took it on a 6 day trip and left it plugged in, and working 24/7, in the back of the X5 for the whole trip. Never even looked like running the battery down. It also has an adjustable battery monitor, which will shut power off to the cooler if the battery voltage drops to a predetermined level.
Also, doesn't weigh a ton like some of them.
