try running slightly higher than suggested rear tire pressure to increase the wear in the center and even out the tire

I went through x2 alignments at my stealer for the same problem.I run 17's because of local road conditions. They did knock off some camber (After they told me they couldnt possibly properly align the car without 2.5K$US worth of suspension bushes/drop links ect!1..ouch!).I got the work done as i just wanted the problem fixed.
When done the wear was just as bad!.I can see where they have indeed knocked some camber off,but it didnt make a blind bit of difference!.Went back the 2nd time (Really Pissed!),they aligned it all again...No difference!!.
Was told A: i was running the wrong make of tyre (Goodyear Wrangler,i needed MXV's),and B: to increase the tyre pressure. This i did,and it has made
slight difference. In my humble opinion you should be able to run ANY tyre you want and have left the Wranglers on as they are less than 1000 miles old.
There is another thread on here that says sometimes "In Spec" on alignment is just not good enough. It needs to be spot on!.Getting my stealer to do this properly will be another time consuming battle. The first alignment, the steering wheel was not even straight!.In the UK nobody will align the x5 without the proper software for the machine. So your stuck with your stealer....It goes on!
