I agree with you JCL, but tell this to BMW also. I can walk into my dealer right now and go in the back of parts. I can pick out which ever additive you want. See, the additive just protects the engine more then the average oil after a certain amount of miles. The average oil even synthetic brake down. Synthetic a lasts a little longer but still it does brake down. To each his own I guess.

Well said JCL, as I said years ago maybe, but now with the new oils (don't add addatives) just change your oil and filter more often. |
