I purchased some eibach spring to lower the front of my X and then today called my dealer to book it in to lower the rear via DIS but they have said it cant be done and would cause errors and DSC light to come on etc. Can anyone advise? as I have read on here that quite a few members have done it.

The answer you're going to get will vary from service advisor to service advisor. Some service advisors are unwilling to permit customers to modify factory setting in their shop and will paint the worse case scenario. You might have to go through several service advisors to find one that will do it. If that doesn't work, you might have to cut to the chase and seek out the opinion of a master tech. If you can get a tech to agree to do it, then the service advisor has to step aside, since it's fairly well understood that service advisors are nothing more than speed bumps in the highway of life.
It's doable. There's a TIS writeup on how to do it. |

Found the write up on how it done on the front page. Looks straight forward enough and I have dealer that will do it now. So next question is, how long and what sort of cost should I expect?
