60,000 MILE SERVICE II

Well I would like to report back on my service II now that I have the x5 back from the dealer but, you see, they forgot to do it. They saw the brake lining light that had just come on, replaced front brakes at no charge, and ordered rear brakes since they were out of them. My daughter picked up the car and gave me the invoice. It showed the brakes and also a courtesy BMW inspection which I thought was strange. I called up and asked why a courtesy inspection when you are supposed to do a complete inspection and replacement of items. When the rear brakes come in they said that they would try not to forget this time. Pretty funny really.

i'd take it back to them to do the job -- unacceptable, IMHO.
