New X5 Owner and new Member here from Arizona

Hello to All,
I'm a new X5 Owner of a 2001 X5 4.4 Sports Package with Premium Sound. Black with black interior, (not the best pic for hot and sunny Arizona!). I bought it on July 4th and have enjoyed every minute that I'm behind the wheel! This is the finest automobile that I've ever owned. I'm a former Chevy Truck, Toyota 4 Runner owner. I drove the same Chevy Truck for 17 years!
I bought this one from a friend that was the original owner and took great care of it as he owns 2 other cars and divided up the mileage between them. This was just below 36,000 miles. He was trading this in on a new Toyota Tundra truck, I worked a deal with him and bought it outright. I'm a proud Papa!
I installed a new pair of front Michelin Diamaris and have been reading here a lot of the problem with camber of the rear wheel axils. I will have that corrected asap.
I also bought an Extended Warrantee, 3 yr/30K mile, from of all companies, General Motors!
GMPP, ( GM Protection Program) offered a really good price and all the coverage bumper-to-bumper that I will need for the next 3 yrs. I'll report & post here my experience as I need work done and how I'm treated by the BMW dealership locally.
1st week I owned it I had my trial-by-fire to be a new X5 owner, Window regulator went T-ango U-niform. I didn't have the warrentee inplace yet. Cost me $360 from a buddy to replace it. I wasn't about to take that apart and do it myself in 114o heat! I saw the new posting with the great pics and instructions on regulator replacement. That will be a keeper for me.
I'm glad I found these pages and will be intouch and a contributor of information that is fit for the pages here.
Here's some pic of the new wagon. I'm loving it!
