Those were probably smuggled cars that were confiscated. The right palms did not get greased, hence the dozers. Pay the right people, you can drive whatever you want in the Philippines.

That would perpetuate the crime....Corrupt Govt. officials would then buy them cheap, or have their relatives buy them, and therefore would continue the theft from our shores to them, the market would thrive, cause now there is a market even though they get caught. By crushing them no one get an advantage or a great price on the cars...

If these were stolen, couldnt the Philippine govt work with the manufacturer to locate the owner. This sounds like another reason my insurance is sooooo expensive!
