Headlight Waffle falls off

After a long day in the office last Friday, I decided to open my headlight to clean the inside of the lens of what appears to be watermarks on the inside. So after baking and taking the lens apart, I cleaned the lens and while cleaning the projector of the low beam I accidentaly hit the waffle and it fell off and went loose. I thought these were bonded to the housing--little did I know that it was attached by removeable clips that is extremely hard to put back. So after 30 minutes or so of trying I decided to just take all the waffles off. Here is the result:

The waffle is the lens that cover's the high beams and low beams on halogen pre-facelift head lights, and the lens that sorrounds the xenon projectors.

Headlights do look better without the waffles, pare! I'm going to remove those off mine when I finally install the AE's.

Do you notice a big difference in the beams without the waffles? I hope they are not too blinding for vehicles going the other way on the road... :p
