please help, will my phone work with this?

hi guys,

i have a 2002 X5, with the built in phone cradle in the centre arm rest, here it is :



i found a really really old phone :http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Timep.../dp/B00004W4BB

and connected it up to the cord (motorola connection at the end)



and the phone worked perfect, charged, sms, calss through the dash computer and steering wheel buttons.

i have no bluetooth as it is a build date of late 2001 of some time, but my question is if i buy this http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...MEWA:IT&ih=001

will i also get all the functions of whats there now, as in will it charge my phone, can i make calls through the existing built in telephone system???
