Mirror compass out of wack...

Seems to get stuck reading whatever direction it was parked in, and doesn't update while driving. Noticed it about 3 days ago, and it hasn't corrected itself... is there a trick to 're-calibrate' it?

I think you push a small button on the mirror and drive around in circles 3-4 times. It should recalibrate properly. It's in the manual.

LOL! Yeah, now that you mention it, I think I did read something about that in the manual... How could I have forgotten such a fantastic solution?!

Has anyone ever done this successfully?

Yup,

Have the compass mirror and when I added a new GPS antenna for my Road Angel (scamera detector/blackspot warning device) the compass mirror went out of whack.

Set the reset function. which displays a 'C' in the display and drove round a large roundabout (traffic circle?) a couple of times and bingo, it's all happy now.

If you're in NJ, I believe you're in Zone 11.

Here's the instructions. (.pdf file) The calibration instructions begin on Page 5.
