WHAT IS THIS !!!

Eventually got around to installing my Baselink woofers and in the process of wiring I discovered the strange items hidden somewhere in the trunk.

No names on the two objects. The black square unit is powered and fused while the round unit is just connect to the square unit. It is obvious from the installation it did not come from BMW with the poor quality of work and bad insulating of cables.

Seems to be some security kind of device or tracker unit which the pervious owner was using and did not inform me.

I would like to know the name of the product and how to get information about it. Probably get it working again....

That's not a Sirius or XM antenna. From the ones I've seen they're not just a flat piece.
Maybe it's lojack?
