Question 2004 X5 MP3

Hi guys. I need to find out if my 2004 X5 4.4i, with Premium Sound, is supposed to have MP3 capabilities ? I inserted an MP3 cd and nothing happens, a Track 01 stays on, but no sound, and i can`t change it to track 02 either. Thanks for your reply

Actually i don`t have a changer in the car, only the in-dash cd player. It should work in the dash ?

It probably doesn't play. I just changed my 6-disc changer to the newer one which does play MP3's. I'm afraid you are gonna have to change yours.
