That was my initial reaction but if you buy OEM parts (Headlight housing, Hella Ballasts and D2S xenon bulbs) Its all plug and play. I did my conversion in less than 45 minutes.

The turn signal sockets. They were a tan color prior so I gave them a quick shot of chrome paint.
