Angry rear bumper flare problem...

This is how my local dealer fixed my fender flare that came apart. Eventhough I showed them the metal spring, they said that's the best(zip-tie!) they can do to fix it. I don't understand how dealers can get away with this. I called my other dealer and they said they can't work on it since another dealer already worked on it.

You need to go in an raise some Hell!!! That is BS!! Threatening to write letters to corporate always helps. And that is not a bad idea to give a call to BMA NA and explaing your perdicament and the shoddy work the dealer did.

Can you give some pics a bit farther our to gain some perspective on where exactly this repair is on the X?

Is your X under warranty? All else fails do it yourself! We can tell you how to do it! You can either remove the bumper (pain in the ass) or pull the wheel well back to gain acess. I installed a bumper support and it is do-able. There is not too much room to work with and you need to squeeze the metal clips on there. A little battle of wills between you and the clips!!!

I cannot believe they put zip ties on there! What's next some duct tape????
