Should i reset the service lights?

I am a newbie, I recently bought the vehicle with 69,000 miles, 5 months ago. The car fax states the car was serviced at 68,000 miles. But i have 1 service light remaining and today i had a oil change. Should i reset the service light since the original owner serviced the vehicle already but maybe forgot to reset the lights?

Hi and :xoutpost:

If you are happy with the service record you received with the X, and the car fax; plus the fact you changed the oil, then yes I would do a service light rest.

is that easy to do or do you need a special reset tool to do it ?? I got a coil replaced in the engine on Monday and when it went one of the service lights on the extreme left went out so now I'm not sure if it's one of the leds that's blown or do I just ignore it?? the other 3/4 are fully lit

Thanks! I am not so great with the website so I didn't see the thread. I just unhooked the battery. The light went out, but it then came back on after 25 miles. It also messed up the key program so now I have to reprogram the key.
