I thought I was the only one with that scratch on the hood when you lift the passenger wiper blade up too far. Guess not. P.S. ssome people have no idea how to compliment an x5 with mods.....and chrome rims SUCK

I have that too Justin. I thought there was something wrong with my passenger side wiper that it didn't lift up the same way as the driver's side does. I took it to the dealer and they said that's the way it is. What's up with that? It's a bitch when it snows and you try to lift up the wiper arms.

good eye! haha ya it happened to me not really noticable unless ur inside the car but still something that i do notice from time to time, and im like "how did i manage to do that!"

So, does no one read the manual? Silly question, I guess. It is well documented. In fact, if you turn the key off when the rain sensor is activated and the wipers are retracted, they will automatically come to the vertical position, usefull for changing the blades or in frosty conditions. While that is sometimes a nuisance, like when you are entering a garage and don't want to wipe dry windows, it is designed purposely that way. Hijack over
