Garage Sealing Question

Just curious what products you guys might be using to seal your garage floors.

Is there a preferred product for sealing the garage floor from oil, paint, dirt, water?

As opposed to buying the floor tiles and installing them in the garage.

Epoxy is good and you can pick up a lot of garage coatings at stores like Home Depot. However, these coatings are tempermental to put on and usually, usually, require a recovering every year or two. You could always simply water seal the concrete...that would prevent most stains.

from doing the epoxy coating at both houses (meticulously etched, cleaned and put a good layer on it with a quality roller) non of the brand fair well against hot performance tires. I would go with the griots industrial tile.

cvt... composite vinyl tile.. home depot/lowes/favorite home improvement store...about 60 cents per 12x12 tile. mix and match colors as you like.

glue em down and forget about them... epoxy only works if you get the industrial grade one... the one that takes 1 week to cure and the fumes can melt paint off... the stuff you buy and diy don't really work (but the only brand that i haven't heard negative feedback on is musclegloss... don't know anyone with it at all)

There have been a number of discussions on garage floor covering on the M5 Board. One of them is at http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/sho...t=garage+floor

I've been looking into tiles by an Australian/New Zealand company called Kiwi which looks very promising so far.
