AC blowing weird or possesed?

OK i noticed that my AC blowing wierd this past weekend. It goes high and then back to low or first where it positioned to.

What's even weirder is after a few seconds of turning it off and taking key off the ignition (completely out of the car), I noticed the ac blows for a few seconds and gone.

What is going on?

read the DYI and buy it from http://www.autohausaz.com/ 80 bucks with 2 day shipping. Replace it, your AC will blow cold air in no time and no more fluctuation. It will shut off when your car is shut off.

I am a victim of the FSR too, use the DIY to replace mine in 30 min without removing the glove box. WE all should mail back our FSR to BMWUSA. There should be a recall for this.

Thanks for the forum and DIY section, I was able to replace the FSR. it took me about an hour to get it done it would have been quicker if hadn't a problem unclipping it but its all good now.

Bought the part from bavauto.com last tuesday for 79 including shipping. and i got it yesterday thursday -- installed it right away.

thanks to all!
