Wow Novax those tips look great. I have a 02 3.0 also. Can you tell me what was involved in the install? Also DocMike if you decide to sell the tips you bought from Morristown let me know.

ok, for those with 3.0 that want the look of 4.6is exhaust. you can get the tips from morristown for $230 shipped. have your muffler shop cut the single exhaust outlet all the way leaves 1 inch to the muffler. fabricate Y tips and weld it to the muffler, the weld the 4.6is tips over it. never go weld the 4.6is tips directly over the single outlet, it just looks awful.

Nova, thanks a lot, i wanted to ask you before for this details, becuase i also have 3.0 and loved those tips you have, but i cant figure what to do... and now my questions are all answered... wohooooo.......
heres what i have done so far on my X (after owning it for 2 months) 1. Aluminum Running Boards - installed last weekend 2. Nav Upgradeto V29.1 with custom splash screen 3. Chrome gauge rings - waiting to be delivered 4. JL stealthbox sub - got a quote from SRAudioworks 5. 4.6 tips - just got the info now NovaX5  its the "bug" man, its the "bug"...

so nova, mine is 4.4, if i were to install 4.6 tips, what else do i need? Do i need to just remove the stock black tips and install the 4.6 one?

just in case you are doing this mod, i have a pair of those 4.6 tips brand new... bought it from morristown, supposedly for my cousin's X, be he totalled his so we never got the chance to install it... let me know...
