How can I get 2006 pricing?

I just placed an order for a 2006 4.8is, but when negotiating a deal, the dealership told me that the price has increased ~$1,000 so that a 4.8is with Navigation is now $73,595. Does anyone in this forum have any way to verify if this is the case or not? The car will not be in for a few months, and I want to be sure that the deal was fair before it is built.

I ended up with a deal around $71,500.

2005 prices were out around 1st or 2nd week of August last year so 2006 prices shoud be out soon. I put my order for 2005 4.8 around this time last year and was delivered last week of October.

I have the complete MY 2006 X5 pricing, and will be posting the .pdfs over
at The 'Fest shortly (within a day or two). By complete I mean MSRP and
Wholesale.

Hell, my '89 325i was $23k and my '04 4.4 was $62k out the door ($2.5k off list). Of course, the 1/3 off special the IRS was running back in '04 didn't hurt

Thank you for the 2006 pricing, Jon. That should put the pricing right on target with Nav and destination. It is really hard to deal on these cars. The color combo had to be special ordered and almost no one would even talk to me about anything off of invoice...and this will be the last year they make this car!
