Well, Arizona finally took the life of my first tire. Looks like I will be replacing those 315's at only 6k miles

Ouch...sorry to hear that. What happened? Did it melt under the extreme heat or something? 110F heat shouldn't do that much damage to a tire, if it's inflated correctly.

I had a burst tyre last week - only had the new 4.8 for 2 weeks. Was expecting a bit more wear out of that set.

I was quite close to home and rolled over a drain cover. The front wheel must have flipped up the cover which went straight through the rear tyre.

BMW came to change the wheel for me and got a replacement sorted the next day.

Avoiding all those drain covers now.

Picked up a small braid strip. We have a LOT of new homes/construction up here. Mix in the wind and running water from the last monsoon and those super fat tires and I guess you find em more often? And yes they are the Diamaris.

I had a 285 19" diamaris replaced yesterday after running over some random object. $310 mounted and balanced at a top notch shop.

Yeah, got my first one about a month ago. I went out to dinner, came out at 8:30pm, drove off, and the right front was completely flat. I was dressed for dinner, and had to change the tire when it was still like 90 degrees out. Fletcher's tire fixed it for free. It appeared as though the valve stem had been cut .
