I had stock rims in my 02 E53 X5 3.0d euro version. A few months ago, I decided to upgrade to 19's and Toyo Proxes tyres of 255 / 50 / 19. Comfort and ride did not suffer even with the heavier rims. Looks even meaner since I got the hyperblack rims to match my Titanium silver body.

All i did was type the word "smell" in the search feature. That same method will work for "Daytime running lights"  When you get to that page some of the other things you ask about will be found as well. Good hunting and have fun.
