Removing throttle pedal

Anyone know how to do this? My 335d has a small rubber grommet to access the allen bolt but my wifes 2003 X5 does not. Any ideas please as I want to try my sprint booster on the X5.

trying to install the oem stainless pads/pedals ... but the new one looks like the 1st pic while the 2nd pic is the current x5 pedal ... any input on how to install?

from the above diagram ... looks like the x5 pedal should slide left but i tried that with no success ... anyone tried this?

open your own thread they will help you on how to install it.Do not hijack thread.

FYI

In the future if someone wants to know how to remove the pedal ... i think this is the best visual though there are supposedly a few tricky tabs ...
