OBC Screen Problem

Ever since getting a new stereo put into my X, the screen on my radio has been having some issues. Sometimes, the screen begins to break up and I can not read the display, but still there are some characters.

For the past couple of days, except for one time when it appeared to have japanese characters, the screen has been totally off. The only way I can use my stereo is because I know which controls are where.

Is this a common problem? Did the installers do something while putting in the stereo. Also, I have an ice-link, would this have anything to do with it? Thanks in advance.

What did you remove to install the new stereo? The OBD is controlled by the OEM radio module setup, so if you removed some components then you may have caused the problem.

I might not be being clear. I have the stock radio and that is the display which goes out. Hopefully this helps.
